Hailing from Hackney, East London, pianist Jesse Doniach is quickly emerging as one of the bright young voices in London's vibrant jazz scene. Inspired to pursue music as a teenager by double bassist Paul Moylan and fuelled by an early captivation with the music of Thelonious Monk, Jesse went on to secure a place at the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Under the mentorship of Liam Noble and Hans Koller, he graduated with first-class honours in 2021. During this period, he spent a year at the Conservatoire de Paris, culminating in the opportunity to perform alongside internationally acclaimed musicians Aaron Parks and Kurt Rosenwinkel during a masterclass series.

At just 28, Jesse has already accumulated a breadth of performing experience throughout the UK, Europe and the United States. This includes appearances at venues such as Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, where he debuted his trio project in May 2025; The Bellwether, LA; and Gramercy Theatre, NYC. Jesse also played piano on and contributed compositionally to artist Yellow Days' album Rock and a Hard Place, which was released in early 2026. He subsequently toured as Yellow Days' pianist across North America, Mexico and Europe.
